Shakti Shanti was born in 2002 when Maria Taylor— a designer, surfer, and yoga teacher—struggled to find clothing that met the demands of dynamic yoga.

Instead of settling, she set out to create a range of active wear that moves with the body, supports without restriction, and enhances performance—all while looking effortlessly elegant.

Health and wellness are central to Maria’s life, and through Shakti Shanti, she aims to inspire women to prioritize movement, mindful living, and self-care.

Her trademark? Uncompromising quality. From the choice of fabrics to the meticulous craftsmanship of each piece, every detail is designed with care to ensure you get what you deserve—activewear that feels like a second skin.
